Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Functional Safety Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 12-month contract position initially until 31st March 2026, with the potential for further extensions.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.
Senior Functional Safety Engineer Lead will perform functional safety activities across the software organization to design safety into our platform software.
Skills Required:- Software Requirements and Architecture Functional Safety (ISO26262) experience at Software Level.
- SW Functional Safety Analyses (FMEA, FTA, DFA).
Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in Automotive Functional Safety development for ASIL B SW Architecture.
- A-SPICE MISRA C/C++.
Experience Preferred:
- AUTOSAR ASW/BSW.
- MBSE.
- Verification Review.
- Confirmation Reviews.
